Cardi B is now a mother of three. The rapper shared the news that she and Offset quietly welcomed a baby girl on September 7. It is their third child together.

Cardi posted the first photos of her new daughter to Instagram, writing, “The prettiest lil thing 🌸🌸 9/7/24 💖💖💖” She chose not to share the baby’s name yet.

Offset and their two other children, 6-year-old Kulture and 3-year-old Wave, appeared in photos from Cardi’s carousel meeting their newest addition.

Cardi and Offset are now just co-parents. Cardi announced her third pregnancy on August 1, shortly after her rep confirmed that she had filed for divorce from Offset.

She alluded to the breakup news, writing on Instagram, “With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”

A source familiar with the former couple’s situation explained Cardi’s choice to Page Six, saying, “They’ve grown apart. That’s what drove her to this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do.”
