Kylie Jenner models Balmain gown featuring her own face made out of hundreds of thousands of beads. She wears her face on her chest. Kylie Jenner is making the most of her trip to Paris Fashion Week, spending time with sister Kendall Jenner and hitting up various fashion shows.
Though she did not attend the Balmain catwalk presentation, the Kylie Cosmetics founder did shout out designer Olivier Rousteing when she posed in a custom gown featuring her very own face.
She showed off the strapless dress on Instagram — which featured her own side profile with bright pink lipstick in a photo-realistic portrait made from hundreds of thousands of beads.
The ultra couture look was a personalized version of the styles seen at the Balmain show, which took place on Wednesday and featured models rocking long-sleeved gowns with red-lipped faces in a similar design.
In a press release from the brand, Rousteing wrote of the collection, “My enduring fascination with intricate embellishments is reflected in complex pearl patterns, pictures and portraits, with some of the impressive photo-realistic creations requiring hundreds of thousands of beads and weeks of expert embroidery.”
This isn’t the first time Jenner has collaborated with Rousteing; not only has the entire Kardashian-Jenner family been close friends with the French fashion designer for years, but also Kylie Cosmetics collaborated with Balmain in 2019.
It’s unclear if the mom of two, 27, was meant to attend Wednesday’s show or if she’ll potentially rock her custom look at some other major event. However, she did watch Kendall strut her stuff for Schiaparelli on Thursday.
Kylie showed off her curves in a waist-cinching black dress with white piping, styling her hair in simple Old Hollywood waves for the Schiaparelli show.
Kendall, meanwhile, rocked her newly dyed blond hair with a corseted one-piece outfit designed to look like a simple tank top and jeans at first glance on the catwalk.
The sister pair enjoyed a night out on Wednesday as well, celebrating Rosalía’s birthday in style at Hotel Particulier with A-list friends including Gigi Hadid, Stassie Karanikolaou, Irina Shayk, Anya Taylor-Joy and more.
Kylie went with a super-short leather minidress while Kendall chose a totally sheer, nude maxi dress.
With a few more days left in Paris Fashion Week, we bet these sisters have plenty more up their sleeves.
