Ring-girl, Sydney Thomas, attracted attention at the match between heavyweight boxing legend Mike Tyson and Jake Paul at the AT&T arena, Texas.
Thomas, a social media star, was one of five ring-girls at the event at the AT&T Arena on November 15, alongside Virginia Sanhouse, Lexi Williams, Delia Sylvain and Raphaela Milagres.
Before the fight, the 20-year-old model posted a video of herself dressed as a ring girl on social media with the caption: “So excited to be the official model for Tyson vs Paul. Who are you cheering for?”
On social network X, fans criticized the fight between the two boxers with a 31-year age gap as boring, lacking impressive punches and “ruining boxing”. Some people half-joked that they only continued watching the match to see Thomas.

After eight rounds with no knockouts, Paul won by a score of 80-72, 79-73, 79-73. The 27-year-old boxer raised his professional boxing record to 11 wins and one loss – a defeat to Tommy Fury, the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, in February 2023.
Paul also pocketed $40 million from the fight, compared to Tyson’s $20 million. Despite being a lesser-known fighter than Tyson, Paul is a social media star with 27 million followers on Instagram alone, according to CBS News. Paul is also the co-founder of Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the company that promoted the fight between him and Tyson, along with Netflix. According to Celebrity Net Worth, Paul’s net worth is $80 million, compared to Tyson’s $10 million.
