Amber Heard is pregnant with her second child to a mystery man after fleeing America and changing her name.
It has been confirmed that the Aquaman actor is expecting her second child.
The 38-year-old already has one daughter, Oonagh Paige who was born in 2021 via surrogate. She shared her views on solo parenting at the time, on social media: ‘I decided I wanted to have a child,’ and ‘I wanted to do it on my own terms.’
“I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way,” she wrote. “I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
A spokesperson for the actor has now shared: “It is still quite early in the pregnancy, so you will appreciate that we do not want to go into much detail at this stage. Suffice to say that Amber is delighted both for herself and Oonagh Paige.”
It has also been reported that Heard has changed her name and now goes by ‘Martha Jane Cannary’ while living in Madrid – the real name of ‘Calamity Jane’.
Heard moved to Spain after her very public court case with ex-husband, Johnny Depp. The pair were married from 2015-2017.
The star went on to allege that Depp had been physically and sexually abusive during their marriage. Heard wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post, titled ‘I spoke up against sexual violence — and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change’.
Depp went on to sue Heard for defamation in a trial that was publicly televised in 2022.
After the trial came to a close, Heard fled America and moved to Madrid with her daughter.
Speaking to NBC at the time, she said: “I get to be a mom, like, full time, you know? Where I’m not having to juggle calls with lawyers.”
Conor Allyn, a director who worked with Heard on ‘In the Fire‘, told People: “She’s living her best life in Spain with her daughter and just finding happiness in that way.”
“I think people carry trauma for a long time.”
“Having gone through something like that on a global epic scale — you never just put that in a suitcase and stick in the attic and never see it again.”
