Cardi B received a very expensive birthday gift from her husband Offset, as he bought her a sprawling mansion in the Dominican Republic. Cardi B is one very lucky lady, as she was gifted a swanky new pad by her husband Offset – and it’s worth $1.5million.
The rapper turned 29 earlier this week, and was treated to the lavish surprise by the Migos star, also 29.
WAP singer Cardi couldn’t stop gushing over the dreamy property as she shared a video of the mansion, situated in the Dominican Republic, with her Instagram fans.
Cardi revealed she previously told her husband she was eager to start investing in short-term rental properties in the idyllic Dominican Republic and “other Caribbean countries”.
It appears her birthday wish came true, as Offset gave her just that.
The stunning home boasts seven beds and seven bathrooms, as well as 8,000-sq-ft of living space.
It looks out onto the beach, and the four storey mansion features two main entrances, making it the perfect social spot.
Cardi’s rental home also has an Italian kitchen, wine fridge, rooftop pool and a separate studio with a kitchen and living room.
Offset bought the mansion for his wife
The eye-watering new home is also tucked away inside a gated private community that boasts three tennis courts, private beach access, two more pools and a helipad.
Sharing her shock over the new place on her Instagram, Cardi wrote: “For a hot minute now I’ve been telling Set that I really want to invest in short-term home rental properties in the DR and other Caribbean countries (since people vacation all year around in those locations), but I felt like he didn’t agree with me and would rather put money into other investments.”

She added: “Well, I was wrong. I just can’t believe this. This was sooo amazing to me.”
It seems Offset has made a great choice with the new pad, as his wife was over the moon.

Last month, Cardi welcomed her second child, announcing the incredible news on Instagram.
The proud mum posed alongside her husband Offset as the doting parents cuddled their newborn son.
Alongside the adorable snap, the music star shared the date her baby boy was born.
“9/4/21”, she penned.
Cardi B and Offset welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Kulture, on July 10, 2018.
In a recent interview, Cardi opened up about the magic that comes with being a mum.
Speaking to People, Cardi said that being pregnant feels like a ‘new chapter’.
“There is something so dear about this pregnancy and I feel like I’m starting a new chapter, and I’m happy about that,” she revealed.
The rapper and Offset married in a secret ceremony on September 20, 2017.
The duo didn’t confirm their nuptials until almost a year later when she made the announcement that she was pregnant with Kulture.The couple have certainly endured a turbulent relationship, with Cardi B even filing for divorce in September 2020.
