Following the announcement of the birth of Cardi B’s little girl the new mum has reported an extravagant gift from fellow rapper Nicki Minaj. The news, first reported by The Blast, says Nicki has given the new mum a baby basket worth $5000 filled with goodies from an exclusive Los Angeles baby boutique called Petit Trésor. Lucky girl!

According to the Petit Tresor website it ‘is the pioneer in the Los Angeles shopping destination of Robertson and Melrose Place that includes Chanel, Oscar de la Renta and London’s Soho House.’ And it boasts a client list of a number of celebrities including, Angelina Jolie, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez and Lisa-Marie Presley.

The Blast quotes a source telling them the requirements were for the basket to be made ‘as girly as possible’ and was full of some of the shop most luxurious items including clothes, dolls and stuffed animals, as well as a silver rattle.

If reports are true this could be the definite end of the reported feud between the two rappers. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were rumored to dislike each other for months beginning in 2017, and Cardi addressed the rumors at the 2017 MTV VMAs, saying, “I don’t want problems with anyone.”

However, they were then spotted chatting happily at the 2018 Met Gala, revealing that there’s any “beef” between them.

American site TMZ announced the birth of Cardi B’s little girl and the news was subsequently confirmed on her socials with the baby’s name revealed to be Kulture Kiari Cephus.
