Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded “frauds” over a key decision regarding their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were slammed by a royal commentator who called them out on their “elitism” and accused them of being “frauds” over their school plans for their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly looking at some of the most prestigious schools in Montecito, California, with the pair allegedly having been seen visiting a private school’s campus which can cost up to £40,000 a year.
Harry has attended some of the most prestigious schools in England, including Ludgrove for prep school and Eton College, whereas Meghan went to Immaculate Heart High School, an all-girls Catholic school in Los Angeles.
Now US-based journalist Lee Cohen has blasted the couple saying that it’s “infuriating” how they, “the self-proclaimed champions of equality and social justice, are even contemplating enrolling their children in an in an exclusive, outrageously expensive school”.
He told GBN America: “Their supposed commitment to progressive causes is nothing but a facade. If they’re willing to indulge in this epitome of elitism, there is no advocating for equality. Yet they’re willing to pay staggering tens of thousands per year for their children’s education.
“How can they possibly justify this when so many families struggle to afford even the basic necessities? Sending their children to such a prestigious institution completely exposes the frauds that Harry and Meghan are. By perpetuating the very systems of privilege that they claim to expose.”
