Shakira set pulses racing while wearing several revealing outfits in the new music video for her track Punteria, which was released on Thursday.
In the clip, the 47-year-old hitmaker showed off a considerable amount of skin as she sang her way through the track, which will be featured on her album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, set for release on Friday.
The songwriter – who recently made a bold statement regarding her past relationship with Gerard Pique – was also joined by Cardi B, who delivered several of her lines in Spanish.
The video began with Shakira singing the track’s opening lines while floating in the middle of a bubble against a cloud-filled background.
The Grammy Award-winning performer donned a cut-out bodysuit that exposed her sculpted arms and legs while she delivered the lines.
The performer then caught the eyes of a group of male centaurs, led by Emily In Paris’ Lucien Laviscount, who was subsequently shot through the heart with an arrow fired by the Hips Don’t Lie singer.
Cardi B, 31, then began her first verse of the song while relaxing on a floating couch situated in the middle of a futuristic set.
The Bodak Yellow rapper opted for a shining dark gray dress that showed off her curvy thighs as she performed her verse.
Laviscount’s character was then dragged into a hall occupied by the singers and their followers, and the native of Colombia cleaned off his wound while suggestively running her hands over his body.
Shakira went on to change into a pink cut-out bodysuit while performing with several backup singers following the conclusion of the song’s second chorus.
The singer then donned a pink dress and was joined by a healed Laviscount as she sat in the middle of a giant flower, in which the two caressed each other.
Cardi B kicked off the song’s final chorus by singing her lines while cleaning and feeding several of the other centaurs.
Shakira concluded the video by shooting an arrow into the distance, sending the group of centaurs back into space.
The singers recently spoke about working on the track during an interview with Billboard, and the Me Gusta singer revealed that she had planned on contacting the rapper to set up a potential collaboration.
‘We were always discussing internally if it was a good idea to put someone on this song. I always pictured Cardi on this song. I reached out, and here we are,’ she said.
Cardi B admitted that she had been hoping to be able to collaborate with Shakira for an extended period of time.
‘I knew this day would come. It came…I don’t care if she wants me to meow — I’m doing it. I cannot wait. Seriously, that is my dream,’ she stated.
